We are the Body: Broken & Blessed

Practicing Wholeness

in the Journey from Epiphany to Easter

What does Paul's exhortation to "glorify God in our bodies" (1 Corinthians

6:20) mean, especially with all of our flaws and brokenness? What can we

learn from the healing stories of Jesus? To what healing is each of us

being called? And how might we be called to bring healing to

others? Come explore these questions with us in a practice which deepens

the breath, stretches the body, and renews the spirit in accompaniment

with the healing strains of the harp. All youth and adults are welcome!

our lives by integrating prayer and physical exercise. It offers the benefits of

flexibility, balance, strength, relaxation and spiritual refreshment. DoxaSoma

draws upon the wisdom of the physical body to inform our spiritual journey. It

is powerful when shared in a group where we are literally gathered as the

body of Christ.

Celtic harper who has taken up study of the harp in his adult years. Doran’s
interest in the harp includes exploring the healing properties of this ancient
instrument and its potential role in prayer, meditation, and worship.
Doran isa Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member
